I am planning to install a new Windows and looking to export all the user passwords saved in my Microsoft Edge browser. Could you guide me through the steps to do this? I want to make sure I can securely back up this information for my records and import it back after installing a new Windows.

Export Saved Passwords in Microsoft Edge?

To export all user passwords from Microsoft Edge, follow the below steps:

  1. Open "Microsoft Edge" > Click on the three dots "..." > Select "Settings".

  2. Click on "Passwords".

  3. Click on the three dots "..." and then select "Export Passwords".

  4. Provide the password of the current login user.

  5. Specify the path that you would like to save your password file, which will be in the CSV extension.
